Break up reps and sets however you want. You may choose whatever weight you like and you may change the weight up or down as much as you need/want.

ReplyDeleteStuck with 245 on the bar, went for 20 UB. Made it through 17. Broke into 5,4,3's after that

Hit 345 for a single before this too, that was nice.
So I didnt actually do this one, but a couple of weeks ago my gym did:

1 minute bodyweight back squats
1 minute rest
I used 240 pounds (because I go RXd all the time! Thats how cool I am!). That means I needed 42 reps to get to 10,000lbs.
My reps were 17-17-15......
So early in round 3 I got 10K lbs. With the rests included, Im calling it:
5:15 rx!
Im not doing another high volume squat workout for a while, because I dont want to live with DOMS for a week again!
